Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God…….I tell there is never a dull moment when it comes to the Saints! Now it has been about two weeks ago that I posted some nude photos of Chad Brown The on of Bishop Charles Brown. Now most times we never move photos, but it has been a couple of case that I decided to have a heart. Although, the photos would have never seen the light of day if something that was totally untrue was never stated about me on social media. Whatever the case the Brown name is in the wind and it is not good. It is no secret of you are COGIC that Bishop Charles Brown has had a most difficult time being accepted as pastor of Williams Temple Church Of God In Christ and they are letting him know it.
According to members of my Obnoxious Street Committee in Houston, Texas a judge ruled the church could meet at the church and members be polled if they wanted Bishop Charles Brown to remain the pastor or to hit the road Jack! Bishop Brown said he came out victorious in court, but they may not totally be true. When it comes to going to court God has been on Browns said because two years ago he came very close to not being in this battle, but having a prison ministry. The good bishop was facing serious sexual misconduct charges that could have landed him in prison for the rest of his life. However, due to the statues of limitations the case was dropped.
Now fast forward to this past Wednesday a group of members filed an injunction and a restraining order against Bishop Brown. The word is that judge used the group could meet at the church and take a vote, but did not grant the restraining order of Bishop Brown.
It seems that the National Church will have to step in on this matter because it has gotten out of hand to say the least. According to the Constitution of the Church Of God In Christ only a jurisdictional prelate an appoint or remove a pastor. Williams Temple is in Bishop Rufus Kyles jurisdiction, but my Obnoxious Street Committee and Bishop Charles Brown confirmed that Bishop Kyles might soon be facing some serious charges in his hometown of Jasper, Texas. I nor my staff have been able to get any confirmation before the courthouse closed Friday, September 5, 2014.
Bishop Charles Brown sent me the following text about the vote and what happen during the hearing on Wednesday:
No the vote was illegal and I told the church there would not be any voting because the church of god in Christ has a process. There people voted anyhow . It does not mean anything. The judge ruled in my favor Wednesday. That is the real victory!!!
Now get to reading the e-mail sent to me from a member of my Obnoxious Street Committee in Houston below:
Well, well, our lawyer turned out to be really good. The voting couldn’t be stopped despite signs all on the church doors telling people that the vote was cancelled and phony phone calls made everywhere asking the members not to come. You still could not keep the members away, they came in droves to vote.
I am going to obey Delivered and pray, but I could not let the lie stand that you won anything in court and I could not resist telling you that the members of WT showed up last night and voted as to whether they wanted to keep Brown as pastor and the outcome was that they do not (just in case you had not heard). The vote was something like 100 to have Brown go and 15 to keep him. 115 people voted. You figure out what is going to happen next. So Boo, I will see you Sunday with the egg on your face!
I am still trying to figure what you think you won in court? The only thing that happened was that the judge did not extend the temporary restraining order (TRO); he let the TRO expire rather than extend it but it didn’t matter because we only wanted to make annoucements and have our meetings in OUR church and we did that! And then the judge let WT go ahead with the voting as planned. Enough said.
