Can you hear the violins playing?  Marcus Gill is known on Facebook for encouraging Singles all over the world and giving them hope that one-day God will send them “The One” that he has set aside just for them. Marcus speaks from a place of experience and believes in every word in which he shares with his followers daily on social media, through his Books, Conferences, Memes, and Video blogs. His first marriage was a difficult one, but even after his divorce and the loss of his baby girl he trusted the Lord to give him a second chance at love and having a family of his own. Well during his single years, he encouraged so many others to hang in there and to not give up because in their waiting there is a blessing and one day they would be joined with their God given soulmate. I find it to be a special privilege to share that the waiting period has ended for my good friend Marcus Gill and on today he is not only sharing with more than a million of his followers, but with those all over the world that if you trust and wait upon the Lord you shall receive ALL that he has in store for you. Below is Marcus Gill and Dominique Cannon’s story that led up to their beautiful engagement.

 Waiting isn’t always easy but it’s always worth it. I truly believe that God’s favor is going to increase on my life. According to the Bible, He who finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favor from the lord. The person that you meet must be the answer to your healing. If they can’t help to heal you, it’s extremely possible that they are not the one. Your God sent mate will be somebody who will make you forget about your past pain. They won’t remind you of it or even hold it against you. They will be the one who frees you! She helped me get free. I’m thankful for her life and I’m excited about our future.

I’m so thankful and blessed. I’ve waited a long time to have this feeling and it’s has certainly been worth the wait. I’m excited about marrying Ms. Dominique Cannon. Our story is really interesting, but divine would be the word that best describes it. We met for the first time back in 2006 when we both attended Winston Salem State University. We were not friends, but we had a lot of mutual friends via the University choir and church fellowships. I remember speaking to her on campus, greeting her with a simple hello. Her response was extremely dry and I vowed to never speak to her ever again. (LOL) I did just that. I moved to NY in 2009 and as I began to reconnect with my New York friends I realized that she was also mutual friends with people here too.
 I was confused as to how she began living in New York at the same time that I moved here. I still never spoke to her. I then realized that her parents and grandparents were closely acquainted with my parents and grandparent through our church fellowships. What a coincidence right? It gets deeper; a few years later one of my former church members reached out to me and said, “Pastor Marcus I have someone that I’d like for you to meet” and she sent me a photo of Dominique. I said, “I know her!” And I asked the sister to make the connection. With no intentions of forming a Romantic relationship we became friends.
It wasn’t until 6 months later that I recognized that she was my wife. I had been speaking for a relationship conference in Baltimore and as I was amongst other men and their families I couldn’t stop thinking about her. I knew then, that I needed to stop being fearful and just ask her out! LOL! I did just that and we continued to build an even more solid friendship. The very special thing about our relationship is that we have actually been acquainted since we were babies; we just never knew it. It was discovered that we would sit together and participate in church together when we were toddlers due to the fact that both of our parents were teens when we were born and our grandparents would take us to church. It was the same church. All of these years we have been connected and just never knew. Our families re-connected through us and both sides lovingly approved. Thanksgiving 2016 to me was the perfect day to ask her to be my wife. I’ve been through so many things as it concerns relationships. I’ve been able to encouraged millions of people through my books, relationship conferences and social media about singleness and waiting for the right mate.

I chose to ask her to marry me on Thanksgiving Day because I’m simply thankful for God allowing us to come together for such a time as this. I can now testify of how God will deliver us from what is wrong and give us a chance to make it right. Waiting isn’t always easy but it’s always worth it. Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……Calvary Baptist Church, a progressive Baptist landmark in the heart of downtown Washington, has named a gay couple as co-pastors.

Sally Sarratt and Maria Swearingen were presented to the congregation during worship services Sunday (Jan. 8) and are set to begin their new jobs on Feb. 26.
A spokeswoman for the congregation said she didn’t know whether a gay couple leading a church was a first for Baptists.
“We look for the best people in the world and that’s who they were,” said Carol Blythe. “We’re very excited.”
The 155-year-old church severed ties with the Southern Baptist Convention in 2012: It found itself at loggerheads with the group on several issues, including the SBC’s stance against homosexuality. Calvary Baptist still affiliates with American Baptist Churches USA, the Alliance of Baptists, the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and the District of Columbia Baptist Convention.
American Baptist Churches USA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Sarratt and Swearingen come to Calvary from Greenville, S.C., where Sarratt has been serving as associate chaplain for behavioral health in the Greenville Health System and Swearingen as associate chaplain at Furman University, according to a news release from the church.
Sarratt, who holds an MBA from the University of Virginia, left the corporate world after she felt called to ministry and obtained her master’s in theological studies from Emory University.
Swearingen, who is fluent in English and Spanish, earned a Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School, where she won an award for her preaching.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……A prominent New Jersey pastor sitting in the front row as Gov. Chris Christie delivered his State of the State speech Tuesday collapsed about 10 minutes into the address and was carried out of the room for medical attention.

Pastor Joe Carter of the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark where the late Whitney Houston grew up, suddenly fainted as he watched Christie speak in the state Assembly Chambers at the Statehouse in Trenton.
The governor’s wife, Mary Pat Christie, who was seated next to Carter, called out for medical help. Numerous people rushed over, and Carter was lifted into a back room.
Christie then asked for “a moment of silence and prayer” before returning to his speech.
It is unclear what happened or what Carter’s condition is.
Carter, 46, has worked with Christie over the years on fighting drug addiction — a key focus of the Republican governor’s seventh State of the State address.
Carter has been pastor of the well-known church in New Jersey’s largest city since 2000.

Everything S Going Dow, But The Word Of God……A group of black pastors Monday criticized African-American opponents of attorney general nominee Sen. Jeff Sessions for demonizing the Alabama Republican, instead characterizing him as someone who shows “respect and care for people of all races.”

The ministers are holdout Sessions supporters in a much larger crowd of opponents among Southern black clergy and African-American and civil rights groups, including the North Carolina Southern Christian Leadership Conference, the Alabama NAACP and the activist group PICO, which uses congregations and churches to help in community organizing.
“There is an attempt by some to demonize people and call them racist when there is actually no proof for it,” Evangelical Bishop Harry Jackson said at a Capitol Hill news conference. “Let me say clearly, Sen. Sessions is not a racist.”
Jackson, the pastor of Hope Christian Church in Beltsville, Md., said Sessions “worked to bankrupt the KKK in Alabama with a $7 million judgment,” and helped to desegregate the state’s public school system.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God meets Drug Dealers And Killers Strike Again……Charlotte pastor was arrested Wednesday in connection with nine armed robberies of businesses.

John Thomas Lindsey, 47, pastor of True Love Church of Refuge on Nations Ford Road, was charged with nine counts each of robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon
“We, the leadership and membership of True Love Church of Refuge, are deeply saddened and disappointed that our leader and brother, John Thomas Lindsey, is facing charges associated with criminal activity,” the church posted on Facebook. “Though we denounce any involvement he may have had, we love him and will continue to pray for him.
“The ministry will continue to stand strong despite the latest allegations and will continue to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom.”

 THOUGHTS ON RELIGIOUS FREEDOM & KIM BURRELL’S VIRAL VIDEO

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……True to form E. Dewey Smith remains controversial and seems to put the knife deeper in Kim Burrell’s wound.  His is the same man that allowed line dancing in his pulpit, members of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity to step to Gerorge Clinton’s Atomic Dog in his sanctuary, and even defended and fought for sleaze bag Jamal Harrasion Bryant to remain a co-host on the talk show Preachers after it was releaved he had a bastard son.  At best Smith’ theology is questionable and is geared to the masses to keep the large numbers necessary to keep Earl Polks old church full on Sunday’s. 
News outlets and social media mediums have been ablaze with dialogue over a video of a sermon by Pastor Kim Burrell. For many years Kim Burrell has been one of my favorite singers. She has also been extremely kind to me and very supportive of my ministry. She’s blessed my congregation many times on special occasions. In her viral sermon, Burrell addressed homosexuality, “perversion” and gave grave implications for those in the LGBT community.
This sermon clip has initiated a tidal wave of commentary and debate. The LGBT community and many outside of it have vociferously condemned her comments as “hate speech” and “homophobic”. A previously scheduled appearance by Burrell on the Ellen Degeneres Show was also cancelled in the wake of this firestorm. While many persons have expressed profound displeasure over Burrell’s comments, others are pledging online support for her and vehemently coming to her defense. After receiving several interview requests about this story and past messages I’ve given about this same subject, I decided to pen this op-ed and list 5 thoughts and a few questions garnered from my own musings.
1) It is virtually impossible for “the church” as a whole to have a conversation about homosexuality because we still fail to discuss sexuality in a comprehensive manner. Many people derive theological suppositions on topics with no regard to the psychological, sociological and physiological variables that can affect an individual’s pathology and sexuality. Recently I read that 60% of African-American women in Atlanta, GA won’t ever get married, starting in the year 2020. Most pastors and churches have not given thought to how their teachings and theology will impact 6 out of 10 African-American women in Atlanta over the next 3 years. Most evangelicals believe that sex is only permissible within the bonds of matrimony. Do we believe that 60% of African-American women have been given the gift of “celibacy” and will live their entire lives without any sexual relations or intimacy, based on what their churches teach? This is just one example about the need for dialogue about human sexuality within the “church”. Until we can honestly discuss sexuality, any other discussion won’t be totally effective.
2) The United States Constitution offers American citizens the freedom of speech as well as the freedom of and freedom from religion. Regardless of a person’s estimation of Burrell’s message, she has every right to say and believe what she chooses. Kim’s sermon was an espousal of her own personal theology. Whether you or I feel her words should be condemned or commended, we must never lose sight of her personal rights. At the same time, many have expressed displeasure with Ellen Degeneres for cancelling Kim’s appearance on her show. We must also respect Ellen’s rights to invite or un-invite anyone that she chooses. Always remember that America offers opponents and proponents of Kim Burrell’s message constitutional liberty to both form and express their opinions.
3) Religion and Biblical interpretation will always be laden with challenges because it involves humanity’s attempt to understand the mind and methods of the Divine. As Kim Burrell has long represented her Christian faith, it’s important to know that Christianity is not monolithic. There are many people who share Kim’s views and the tone that she delivered in her sermon clip, yet they are not representative of all Christians. In the same way that churches differ over doctrine and denomination, “Christians” are not unanimous or unified in their beliefs about homosexuality. Some people of faith rely on Genesis 19, Leviticus & Romans 1:26-27 to preach against homosexuality while others declare that Genesis 19 was about rape and violence, Leviticus was about the Civic and Ceremonial laws of Jews and Romans 1:26-27 was about male prostitution in 1st century synagogues and not homosexuality. The same way that people have different views regarding baptism, sacraments, ordinances, women in ministry, gifts of the Spirit, eschatology, The Virgin Birth, The Trinity, The Rapture and the Apocalypse, is the same way that people differ on what the Bible says or does not say about homosexuality. In addition, some people don’t believe in the Bible, and they have every right to not do so. Americans aren’t forced to follow any faith, creed or book.
4) In a world of religious freedom, we must strive to be peaceful and civil in co-existing with all people. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. envisioned and sought a “more beloved community”. This concept must be pursued by us all, lest we fall into anarchy and chaos. Opponents and proponents of Kim Burrell’s theology must find a commonality, a mutual respect and regard for a person’s humanity and worth, even if they differ. When theology fails to unite us, affirmation of each other’s humanity and intrinsic value should be the underlying resolve and resounding declaration. The goal can’t be merely about determining who is “right” but instead, living by a mandate to treat each other righteously.

5) No matter what your theology, values or belief system is, there are a few questions that I’d like for us all to ask ourselves and consider in light of this controversial and divisive topic:
1) Does my theology, language and tone help to develop or destroy people?

2) Does my theology take into consideration people who are in certain places in their lives after being sexually abused? What does my theology offer “intersex” people?
3) What does my theology do to suicidal teenagers stuck in psychiatric units because they’re struggling with their sexuality?

4) What does my theology do to a father who is estranged from his son due to his son’s sexual orientation?
5) Does my theology help to foster the same climate that encouraged a man to shoot 50+ people in the Pulse Night Club in Orlando?
6) Does my theology or belief motivate me to want an actor’s television show pulled from the airwaves because he attends a church that only supports marriage between a man and a woman?

7) Does my theology or belief lead me to label anyone who disagrees with me as “homophobic” or “hateful”?
8) If a person believes homosexuality is wrong, are they hateful?
9) Does my theology or belief allow me to call others “hateful” and never see my own “hate”?
10)) What can I do to make the world more loving? Can I disagree without being disagreeable and mutually co-exist with those who do or don’t agree with me?
The debate over Kim Burrell’s video did not start in post-modernity. This ancient rift didn’t begin today and won’t be solved by an op-ed, sermon, book or tv appearance. My prayer is that we would really discern God’s heart in these critical times and view each other the way God views us. My earnest plea is that we would hope for full life for all of God’s creation! May we strive to always be light in dark places. Let’s commit ourselves to presenting our individual truths in love. I am convinced that our preaching, philosophy, theology or ideology won’t have the most potent efficacy; our “fruit” and our love will.
   
           

  
Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……My Obnoxious Street Committee takes us back to Charlotte, North Carolina.  It seems that Elder Ryan Keyes was quickly dismissed along with a fellow male colleague from teaching in Pitt County Schools.  After some research we have discovered here at Obnoxious Media that Ryan Keyes was not only fired, but banned from stepping foot on any school in the county ever again.  

 Insiders have informed us that Ryan, who was a teacher in the school district was caught by a student with another male teacher in an extremely compromising position.  We have not been able to verify if the two men were actually having sex, but was said to have been in some sexual situation that demanded immediate dismissal and warranted Elder Ryan Keyes to be banned from all Pitt County Schools.  Not certain if this is for life or a specific time period.  Most interesting for a preacher in the largest African American Pentacostal Denomination the Church Of God In Christ (COGIC) that came under fire two years ago after the homophobic sermon preached on Saturday on the Holy Convocation.

Charlotte recently lost the NBA All Star game due to the city not being willing to allow gay men that identity as females from using the restroom of their choice.  A number of COGIC pastors that live in North Carlonia held a press conference expressing their right to believe homosexuality is a sin.  Some felt that the Church Of a God In Christ should have pulled their Auxiliaries In Ministry Convention from Charlotte along with the NBA and a number of other organizations that pulled their conventions as well.  The Presiding Bishop Charles Edward Blake, Sr. even publicicly apologized for the rant by the speaker during the Convocation two years ago.  If Rayan is in fact a Pineapple Juice Drinker (Obnoxious Media’s word for on the Down Low) and living a double life then his dirty little secret is out and has caused him to be unemployed.  

Obnoxious Media reached out to the Human Resources Department at Pitt County Schools and got confirmation that Ryan Keyes is no longer with the district, but could not go into details.  Little information has been able to be obtained about the man who was busted with Ryan and also lost his job, but it is just a matter of time before his name surfaces.  In light of Pastor Kim Burrell’s recent remarks on the topic of homosexuality and a former member of the Church Of God In Christ (COGIC) this may be another opportunity for the national church to address the controversial topic.  All the COGIC gay boys need to tell the names of all the Pineapple Juice Drinkers in the church that are living double lives to prevent further hypocrisy in the Grand Old Church and continued scandal.

What’s up.. something big is brewing in the greater Nc jurisdiction and of the COGIC. The jurisdictions pride and joy….Elder Ryan Keyes is being exposed for his secret homosexual lifestyle. He’s the Vice/Chairman of NC AIM and the son of the self-righteous, most holier than Thou jurisdiction supervisor of women ..mother h Keyes.

According to my source at the Pitt County school sister, Prince Ryan, along with a male colleague, was abruptly dismissed from the school system for improper sexual conduct. The two gentlemen were caught pleasuring each other in a classroom. Which is extremely interesting considering Ryan’s recent message at the 2016 Pre-Aim Rally in Myrtle Beach where he talked about many Fast women wanting him and coming after home. Baby, he don’t want you.

Members of both the Pitt County School Staten and even members of the local church knew of this incident but Mother Keyes and her sources kept the situation quiet until now.

There’s a lot of hatred for Elder Keyes in the GNC jurisdiction because of his self righteous attitude and his spoiled nature. Ryan is a extremely weird relationship with his mothers he’s seen time after time as her personal adjutant and even walks and preaches like her (which is strage since he is acting like a woman) but not honest about liking men!
Earlier this year, it was rumored and has been confirmed by several people that Ryan has been traveling preaching with a female in an attempt to dispel rumors that he is in fact an undercover faggot.  He would go through all that trouble to cover up that he actually like to get freaky with men.

Road companion. I guess he fell like if he can serve his mom, he can have a lady adjutant. This lady has shown up with him everywhere from the Jurisdiction temple to the local hotels in Charlotte while speaking at a youth conference. Such a great example for our young people to keep up this lie at the expense of the jurisdiction!

Everything Thing Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……Vice Chairman of the Church Of God In Christ (COGIC) General Council Pastors and Elders Superintendent Destry Bell has been sent a Cease & Desist Letter by the Presiding Bishop Charles Edward Blake, Sr. regarding his formation of a fellowship in effort to establish a new jurisdiction in Texas.  It seems that all of the controversy in the past two years in the Texas Southeast First Jurisdiction where Bishop Rufus Kyles was the prelate.  Since allegations of sexual misconduct and a lawsuit filed by a young lady that Bishop Kyles was having sex with her caused him to be suspended.  Since being found guilty by the COGIC Board of Bishops, Bishop Kyles was awared and appeal but the church’s judiciary board.  

Bishop Brandon Bretheart Porter, General Board Member has since been made the interim bishop and it has been some great level of unreadiness by a number of the pastors in the jurisdiction.  Destry Bell saw this as an opportunity to form the Texas Gulf Coast Fellowship that would seek approval of the General Borad to be approved to establish a new jurisdiction.  This has constantly been an subject of controversy for the Church Of God In Christ for some time.  The old fashioned split and who gets approved and who does not has yet to be consistent.  Just this past convocation some fellowships was approved and new bishops concentrated, but no to Destry.  The thirty church rule is actually not constitutional and was used as a rule of thumb to prevent so many splits and formation of new jurisdictions.

In a strongly worded letter it was said that if Destry and the men and women that are credential holders would have to continue to work with their current jurisdiction or possibly loose their credentials in the coming year.  In the letter he was warned that if he continued his efforts the national church would have to consider next steps regarding his re-election as vice chairman.  It is still not clear why Bishop Blake is so admit for Destry to not have a fellowship.  Texas has a great deal of jurisdictions, but the same can be said for a number of cities and states throughout the country.

Obnoxious Media was informed early this morning troubled Bishop Eddie Lee Long died at 63.

New Birth Missionary Baptist Church announced the information stating Long had transitioned from this life early Sunday morning after a gallant private fight with an aggressive form of cancer.

Long, the pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, disclosed last year that he was recovering from an undisclosed health challenge. Many had speculated he was ill after he posted a video in August that showed him looking very gaunt.
Obnoxious Media broke the news first that Bishop Eddie Lee Long had been diagnosed with stage four Cancer after he released a viedo that he was a vegan.  

Long had said he was eating a raw vegan diet and giving up on a “slave menu,’ trusting “God to deliver me from Popeyes Fried Chicken.
Obnoxious Media has learned that Gregory B. Levett and Sons Funeral have been in trusted with the remains.  We are working finding out the details of his funeral services, but according to insiders it is safe to say that Bishop TD Jakes will most likely preach the eulogy.

Through his earthly battle, Bishop Long believed that God was once again using him to help others see the power of the Holy Spirit through the love New Birth displayed to him and the countless prayers sent up by others from every corner of the earth.Bishop Eddie L. Long was 63 years old. He is survived by his beautiful wife, First Lady Elder Vanessa Long, 4 children Eric, Edward, Jared and Taylor and 3 grandchildren. The Long family thanks you for your prayers, condolences and messages of love. The family appreciates your support and respect of their privacy, as they prepare along with New Birth, for the homegoing service to honor Bishop Long. The date and other details will be announced in the near future.

New Birth has set a date for a service for Bishop Eddie L. Long, who died Sunday at age 63.

Elder Craig Heath said during an early morning international prayer call that homegoing services will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 25.
The church had said on Sunday that an email would be sent to members with further details.
Heath read from the New Birth in a statement yesterday that Long ” is now spiritually healed and home with the Lord.”
“Bishop Long, Senior Pastor of New Birth, transitioned from this life early Sunday morning after a gallant private fight with an aggressive form of cancer,” the statement said.
Leaders on the prayer call, which opened and closed with music, at times seemed emotional as they talked about how Long had always “sowed seeds” in them and in others. Heath said the service would celebrate his life, sacrifice and service.
He acknowledged that members were still is the midst of working their thoughts and feelings considering the life and legacy of Long.
Bishop Long was absent at several services during recent months but was present during Christmas and New Year’s Eve services.  His last sermon was during Watch Night Services to usher in the new year .
New Birth members were told of Long’s death on Sunday. Some sobbed and cried. Others prayed and leaned on those near them in support.

  
Obnoxious Breaking News!  Obnoxious Media has learned some terrible news today.  Gospel Music Artist Deon Kipping released a video on Instagram requesting prayer due to his recently being diagnosed with stage three Cancer.  Our thoughts and prayers are with him as he moves forward with treatment and we are praying for his son.  God is still a Healer and long as their is life there is hope.

Deon and his team are planning a huge benefit concert to take place in March to raise funds for cancer research and treatment.  We cannot take life and each other for granted.  These type of situations remind us of what is really important.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……Bishop Eddie Lee Long passed away over the weekend, with the sad news being confirmed yesterday (Jan. 15) by the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. The longtime pastor had been privately battling an aggressive form of cancer and was 63 years old at the time of his death.

While his ​family, ​supporters, critics and colleagues took to social media to reflect on his untimely passing, another group came forward to offer a statement of their own.  Many have wanted to hear what does the four young men that were brave enough to come forward has to say.  
Back in 2010, four men, Anthony Flagg, Maurice Robinson, Jamal Parris and Spencer LeGrande, came forward, ​each ​claiming that the pastor coerced​ them ​into having sexual relationships with him. The suit filing claimed that Long engaged with each of the young men in sexual acts, such as massages, masturbation and oral sex, with an undisclosed financial settlement reportedly ​being ​reached a year later.
 The four accusers have shared a statement following the passing of Long, announcing that they are writing a book titled Foursaken, ​which is where they will​ formally be ​address​ing​ their ​various reactions and feelings in depth.
“As much as we’d like to make a statement about the passing of Bishop Eddie Long, we’ve all decided to remain silent, for now,” the group’s statement reads. “We’re all brothers in this. Our perspectives will be addressed in our book, Foursaken, which we hope to release soon.”
According to the report, the co-authors are still looking for a publisher. The book is said to focus on their lives after they parted ways with the controversial preacher. 
Centino Kemp, known as the fifth accuser never actually filed a lawsuit, but after he surfaced Bishop Long quickly reached a settlement.  It seems that he is not included in the book Foursaken and actually wrote his on book that was released online.  Obnoxious Media later discovered that a great deal of the claims made in the book were not true at all and in fact he met online.  Kemp was selling himself on Craiglist and Bishop Long alleagedly responded to his ad.  Insiders say Kemp never knew Long was a famous pastor until the story broke and he saw it on the news and came forward.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……The news of Bishop Eddie Long’s death rocked Atlantans, the nation, the world, and especially those connected to New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. The longtime pastor died early Sunday morning on Jan. 15 after battling what his church called “an aggressive form of cancer.” His death has drawn a strong reaction from people on social media, both positive and negative.

The story breaking of the four young men filling lawsuits claiming Bishop Long groomed them to have sexual relationship with has rocked the church in a way no other scandal as ever.  Bishop Eddie Long’s scandal hits the very core of you.  How can a man that did so much possibly privately be a villain?  It seems that Bishop Long was a black Jerry Sinduskey.  Perhaps if he was ever marched out of his huge church in handcuffs people would feel better.  God allowed to escape jail with the investment fraud that took place at his church when he endorsed Ephern Taylor.  Again that was another lawsuit settled out of court. People are angry because they never got closure and will never know his side of what actually happen.  This story was so powerful it caused CNN Reporer and Host Don Lemon to come out of the closet on live television and admit he had been sexually violated as a teen.  This death has resonated with people in a very impactful way.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God meets Drug Dealers And Killers Strike Again……A CRAZY story is coming out of Talahassee Florida – surrounding a Pastor named Rev. Orinthius Jermaine Simmons, Sr. and his church the Jacob Chapel Church.

Earlier this week a church member was arrested – and charged with threatening to SHOOT the pastor after he walked in on the pastor and his wife having sex at his house.

According to the police report below – the Pastor was allegedly caught having sexual relations with the mans wife.
On Pastor Simmons website it states, “Rev. O. Jermaine Simmons, Sr. is the proud husband of Mrs. Elise A. Simmons, and father of one son, Orinthius Jermaine Simmons, Jr. In lieu of the many accomplishments and awards that Pastor Simmons has received through the years, it will always be undergirded by his love for the Lord and for his family.”
It seems he offered a weak apology to his church today that did nothing, but make excuses for his actions.

According to the police report below Claynisha Stephens was having such a good time sexing her pastor that she forgot to pick her child up form school.  When the school was not able to reach her they called her husband and he went to pick up their son and caught his wife and pastor in their daughter’s bed.  He went to their bedroom to get his gun.  Some how he decided to leave the apartment and took all the pastor’s clothes.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……Well, for years people have stole my work and not given me credit, but this year it will stop.  The African Sleaze Bag Fred that owns MediaTakeOut has posted my photos of Bishop Eddie Lee Long and is so low down he would not even give me credit.  The so called attorney should have enough sense and integrity to thank me for the photos, but know he is such scum that he would not even say he got them from me.  Not he tried to discredit me on a story I broke on Mayor Kasim Reed and Young Dro after he was paid.  

However, this takes the cake so let ,e set the record straight!  The only two photos you see of Bishop Long are mine and no one else got any of his remains except me and if you see them on any other site know they came from Obnoxious Media and everyone else is a fake lair and fraud.  Fred at MediaTakeOut is so dumb he said bishop was laid out like a king, which is false he was properly laying in state in a bishop’s full Chior dress.  Obnoxious Media has broke many stories for close to a decade like Juanita Bynum and Bishop Weeks fight, Paul Morton’s unknown daughter, and countless others.  Mainstream media especially Cox Communications quotes my work all the time and not give me proper credit, but when other bloggers try it is Ti,e to call them out.

Obnoxious Media is an authority on African American Entertainment and News.  If you want the inside scoop with accuracy and details then this is the place to come.  It was this very outlet that broke the store that Bishop Long had cancer and he confirmed it two days later.  Obnoxious Media constantly leads the pack and it is not time to give credit where it is due.  So what it you do not like me, but respect me and my work.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……Bishop Stephen A. Davis of New Birth Birmingham has been named to succeed the late Bishop Eddie Long.  Pictured with his wife.  It will be interesting to see how the people adjust to a new pastor and white First Lady.  It is most bazaar that Davis seems to come out of nowhere and was not even on program at Bishop Long’s funeral.  Long  was senior pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia. He died Jan. 15 at age 63.  We have not been clear on structure at New Birth since Bishop Long dismantled traditional Baptist protocol some time ago.  However, this is a travesty to not even morn Bishop Long for at least 30 to 90 days.  If they loved him and felt he was such a great man then honor his memory and not just kick him to the curb.  

It would have been most appropriate to have waited at least a year and had various preachers come in and the members have some part in the process.  How did the Trusttees not consider Edward Long and name Davis as pastor and you just had the man’s funeral on Wednesday.  Now New Birth and people that say the loved Bishop Eddie Lee Long so much and have been so upset with the negative comments and people being critical of his scandal show thier true colors.  Vanessa she have not allowed this to happen the following Sunday after she just buried her husband.  This is disrespectful and to fast of a move and dishonors Bishop Long’s legacy. 

Davis was formally introduced as the new senior pastor today during Sunday services. His installation is effective immediately.
Long and the New Birth board of directors agreed to Davis as the person to take over the megachurch in the succession plan, which was adopted in 2013.

Davis comes to NBMBC on the “crest of a highly successful tenure as senior pastor, president and chairman of the board , formerly known as Refiner’s House, according to a release. Davis has had direct ties with Long since 2006. Refiner’s House in Birmingham became a New Birth Church plant in 2011, a part of the New Birth Church expansion.  Not sure how Edward Long allowed his father’s legacy to slip through his hands and he has been preaching and filling in  for his father during his illness.  Edward should strike a match and burn it down to the ground then let it go to another man.

Pastor Scott reveals that they want to work and have hope in the Trump Administration.  Scott says the thugs reached out to him cause they have hope in Trump’s Administration, but did not in Obama’s.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……Bishop Manuel Cruz leads prayers on Saturday afternoon inside Newark’s Sacred Heart Cathedral in New Jersey. During service, a man dressed in white with a matching hat meandered toward the altar and swung at the bishop, punching him in the mouth and knocking him to the ground. The church was filled with officers who immediately took the man into custody. A spokesman for the Archdiocese of Newark says, “we certainly were surprised and saddened by it, and are thankful that things were not worse than they turned out to be.”

Obnoxious Media has yet to know why the man Attacked the bishop.  It was interesting they would allow the man to walk up on the platform during the service and while the bishop was up.  It was terrible to see such disrespect in the church and for a servant of God.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……An Ohio pastor told FOX 32 that he “misspoke” at the White House. He created a national sensation by telling President Trump Wednesday that Chicago gang leaders would “lower the body count” if given new federal programs.FOX 32: So, there are no gang leaders offering to reduce the body count in exchange for federal funds?
Seems that Scott might have caused some serious problems with his statement.  The Cleveland pastor is now backpedalling and says he was tired and did not realize what he was saying.  No one wants to say this was an complete lie, but in fact that is just what it was.  A lie!  It was ridiculous for him to even make that comment during A Black History meeting.

“No! I mean, c’mon now! (laughs) No!” Pastor Darrell Scott said.
Rev. Darrell Scott was laughing about it Wednesday night. A few hours earlier, though, the Cleveland Heights, Ohio, pastor told President Trump that Chicago’s “top gang thugs” wanted him to pass along a sensational offer.

“They’re going to commit that if they lower the body count, we come and do some social programs,” Scott said.

“If they’re not going to solve the problems, what you’re doing is the right thing, then we’re going to solve the problem for them. Because we’re going to have to do something about Chicago. ‘Cause what’s happening in Chicago should not be happening in this country,” Trump responded.
“They want to work with this administration,” Scott added.
“Good,” Trump said.

“I’m tired of him trivializing this in these tweets and being this obsession with Chicago and doin’ nothin,” Father Michael Pfleger said. “This is too serious to be making crazy comments at a White House black history celebration. This is an insult to Chicago.”
Father Pfleger urged the president to deliver on all his previous promises.
“This American carnage stops right here and stops right now,” Trump had previously said.
FOX 32 asked one of Chicago’s smartest anti-violence crusaders what he would tell the president if he were invited to the White House.
“I’d tell him that we can’t just look in one area. When you look at public safety, it’s linked to public health. It’s linked to education. It’s linked to a whole number of things. It’s linked to jobs,” said Christopher Mallette, Executive Director of Chicago Violence Reduction Strategy.
“Before we start talking about creating jobs, before we start talking about all these other things, before we implement them, we need to reduce that body count,” Pastor Scott told FOX 32.

Pastor Darrell Scott also told FOX 32 a lack of sleep caused him to tell President Trump that Chicago gangs had offered to “lower the body count.” He said he actually spoke to one former gang member, and not to any gang leaders.
