A D.C. Superior Court judge has reinstated the son of the late Apostle Betty P. Peebles to the board of the Jericho City of Praise. The decision is likely to touch off a new battle over control of one of the Washington area’s largest and best-known houses of worship.

Judge Stuart G. Nash ruled that Joel R. Peebles and William A. Meadows were improperly removed from the board of trustees in 2009 and that subsequent actions taken by the board, including firing Peebles as pastor after his mother’s death, were invalid.

The church — which Betty Peebles and her husband, the late Bishop James R. Peebles Sr., founded in Northeast Washington more than five decades ago — has grown into a 100-acre campus near FedEx field in Landover, Md., complete with senior-citizen housing, a business park, a school and a drug treatment center.

The church — a nationally known venue for religious and musical icons including Bishop T.D. Jakes and Patti LaBelle — filed papers to incorporate in Maryland in 2010, a few weeks after Betty Peebles died.
The ensuing fight over who would control Jericho has been so bitter that it split the congregation and spawned years of litigation in the Maryland and D.C. courts.
In 2012, the church’s board fired Joel Peebles, escorting him off church property after a Prince George’s County Circuit Court judge gave the board authority to do so. That ruling was later rejected by the Maryland Special Court of Appeals.
Thousands of church members who sided with Joel Peebles have since chosen to worship in school auditoriums and sports arenas. Members loyal to the board have continued to worship in the church complex.
Last year, the Jericho board hired Jasmin Sculark, a barnstorming evangelist known as “The Daughter of Thunder,” as the church’s new pastor. Sculark has been at the church for a little more than a year. On the church’s Web site, Sculark says that the church has 5,000 new members.
Nash’s ruling on Tuesday invalidated the authority of the church board and any of the board’s actions regarding the D.C. church or its remnants. The judge said Peebles and Meadows should be placed back on the board, and church members who sued to protest their own ouster from Jericho should be reinstated as members, pending “a review of their status by the validly constituted Board of Trustees of Jericho DC.”
Peebles is very grateful for the court’s thorough and careful opinion,” said Timothy S. Maloney, the lawyer for Joel Peebles. “It shows that the defendants can’t exercise any control over the church and its assets.”

But Sean C. Trice, the attorney for the discredited board, said in a statement that it planned to appeal Nash’s ruling, “and once again establish that Jericho City of Praise is and has always been properly governed. We remain committed to our continued peaceful fellowship, growth as a church family, and the call of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

The old board filed a motion to suspend the Judge’s ruling until an official appeal could take place. Since appeals can take years to happen, Dr. Jazz & the old board must vacate the premises.

One of the first things Bishop Joel Peebles did when he regained control of his church was to fire Dr. Jazz as pastor, who was installed by The Black Pope Jackass Jakes!  Insiders say the first thing Jazz did was to call Jakes as if he could fix this mess.  Word is he advised her to obey the courts decision.  Still no word on Micheal and Dee Dee Freedmen and Thierry wrong doing in this entire mess.  Read all the details from the church website below:

DC Superior Court Judge Stewart Nash ruled in favor of Bishop Joel R. Peebles and the original Board Of Trustees. The decision by Judge Nash removes the six employee/church members from having any control over the church and no access to church funds. The judge found that this group of six people illegally seized control through a well devised hostile takeover, during the prolonged illness of the founder and Apostle Betty Peebles. The ruling showed that there was an abundance of evidence that supported Bishop Joel Peebles claim that he was a member of the Board of Trustees at the time when these sixpeople secretly seized control . The trial uncovered evidence that showed that long time board members Chairman William Meadows and Anne Wesley were in fact tricked into signing documents that were later used to illegally remove them from the Board of Trustees. The ruling also acknowledges that Dorothy Williams (one of the six conspirators and a part of the original board) personally enriched herself and was found to not be credible. Judge Nash’s order reinstates the surviving members of the original Board of trustees which consist of Bishop Joel R. Peebles, Elder William Meadows and defendant Dorothy Williams.

Judgment is GRANTED in favor of the plaintiffs, to wit: the Court hereby DECLARES that Resolution 1-09 of the Jericho DC Board of Trustees, which purported to change the membership of the Board of Trustees, is invalid; and DECLARES that the current Board of Trustees for Jericho DC shall consist of the surviving members of the Board of Trustees that existed prior to the invalidated Resolution 1-09, those members being: William A. Meadows; Dorothy L. Williams, and Joel R. Peebles and DECLARES that actions taken by defendants after March 15, 2009, acting as the purported Board of Trustees of Jericho DC, under the color of resolution 1-09, including the purported approval of the merger of Jericho DC into Jericho MD, are invalid; and the Court hereby ORDERS THAT DEFENDANTS REFRAIN FROM EXERCISING OWNERSHIP OR CONTROL OVER ANY CORPORATE ASSETS OF JERICHO MARYLAND FORMERLY BELONGING TO, OR DERIVED FROM, THE CORPORATED ASSETS OF JERICHO DC, and ORDERS that plaintiffs are reinstated as members of the church pending a review of their membership status by the validly-constituted Board of Trustees of Jericho DC. July 7, 2015 – Washington D.C. – Bishop Joel Peebles, Sr. and Pastor Ylawnda Peebles are humbled and grateful by the recent ruling by the Superior Court of the District of Columbia which reinstates the original Board of Trustees, including Bishop Joel Peebles, Sr., to the Jericho City of Praise in Landover, Maryland. The ruling invalidates all actions of the improperly seated board.

We give thanks to God and move in His love, as we work through this transitional period. In preparation for the final steps of this process, we will carry out the mandate God has for our Ministry, by continuing to operate for the meantime within our current schedule of worship services.  Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God meets Drug Dealers And Killers Strie Again……It is obvious that The Black Pope (Jackass Jakes) does not have the Holy Ghost or any discernment.  Jakes wrote a book on entire Instinct, but he has none obviously.  Constantly people that are associated with him get caught in scandal including his son Jermaine, who was busted for masturbating in a public park while trying to entice a male plain clothed police office.  His daughter Sarah has claimed her NFL football player ex-husband physically abused her and now she has married a man almost old as her daddy to countless others.  Juanita Bynum, Paula White, Jamal Harrasion Bryant, Dr. Jazz all have been in scandal.  Jakes, who does not have the statesmanship of a Baptist Preacher seems to give his blessing to people that fall short.  The Bible says how can two walk together except they agree.  We know a lot about Jakes based upon his company.  Now he has a pedophile as a one of his preachers at his Denver location.  This is going to cost him a hunk and a chuck to make this one go away!  The details are below: 

 A former Denver church official accused of sexually assaulting an underage girl he met at the church has been arrested in Texas on a warrant obtained by the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office.

Leroy Alexander Lowe, 50, was arrested June 18 by the Arlington Police Department on a warrant containing the investigative charges of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust, sexual exploitation of a child and child enticement, according to Arapahoe County Undersheriff Louie Perea.
Lowe was an executive coordinator at The Potter’s House church at at 9495 E. Florida Ave., a source told reporters.

He remains in the Tarrant County Corrections Center in Texas on $50,000 bond.
“At this point we’re seeking extradition back to Colorado,” Undersheriff Perea told reporters.

Perea said the alleged child sex crime was reported to the sheriff’s office in February and an investigation was launched.
Lowe had been an official at The Potter’s House and met the alleged victim through the church, Perea said.
“He had left the church and moved to Texas,” the undersheriff added.
The Potter’s House of Denver issued this statement Thursday evening:
“As soon as we learned about the alleged incident, we were horrified and deeply saddened; we reported all information to the police and took all necessary precautions to ensure our beloved church members and our staff was safe from any potential harm. This included immediate suspension of Lowe, his removal from the premises and banning from all church activities. Beyond that, we submitted all requested documents to the police. We have zero tolerance for any disrespectful, dishonest and illegal behavior. We trust our justice system will determine the best action for this incident. Our prayer is that all families affected by this situation will receive privacy during this time.”
Public records indicate Lowe had lived in both Arlington and DeSoto, Texas before moving to Denver.

 Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……Seems that Bishop Ellis was able to lay aside his differences with Bishop Morton and attend his final Full Gospel Confrence.  It is a blessing to see men at like actual men of God and love and forgive each other.  Ellis showed great strength and humility to attend Walker’s consecration knowing he should have received the great honor.  It remains to be seen if Full Gospel survives under Walker’s leadership.

Bishop Sapp Will Oversee 70 Churches in the Fellowship’s North Central Province While Remaining

 July 14, 2015 – In a sacred and grand Episcopal Consecration Service held Friday, July 10, in Jacksonville, Florida, Marvin Sapp was elevated to Bishop within the Global United Fellowship (GUF) under the leadership of Presiding Prelate, His Grace, Bishop Neil C. Ellis.

The service was held on the final day of GUF’s second annual National Gathering. More than 20 members of Sapp’s family, including his mother, as well as 40 members of Lighthouse Full Life Center Church, traveled to Jacksonville and joined thousands of GUF delegates and attendees in witnessing the event.

During a rousing homily rich with guidance and encouragement, Sapp, along with four other Bishops Designate, was told that “contradictory to any elevation you have received, this is the crowning moment of your ministry…it is the apex of hierarchical ascension in the Christian church.” The homily was delivered by GUF’s Global Leader of Pastors, Bishop Leonard Smith, who exhorted the Bishops Designate to “never become untouchable.”

The consecration service was led by Chief Celebrant Bishop Neil C. Ellis along with Co-Consecrators Bishop J. Delano Ellis, II; Bishop Rudolph McKissick, Jr. and Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer. The Act of Episcopal Consecration included the Rite of Apostolic Succession, led by Bishop J. Delano Ellis, II, and The Prayer of Consecration, led by Bishop Neil Ellis. Bishop J. Delano Ellis explained that apostolic succession and episcopacy are symbolic of Jesus passing the mantle of leadership of His church to the new Bishops, who have a primary fidelity to Christ.

 After a Prayer of Guidance led by Co-Consecrator Bishop Kenneth Ulmer, GUF’s Vice Presiding Bishop-At-Large, Sapp was vested according to the Order of Bishops and presented with insignias including the cross, the stole and the ring.

Marvin Sapp was nominated as an episcopal candidate in July, 2014, during the first national gathering of Global United Fellowship. In March, 2015, he became Bishop Designate after a three-day catechism held earlier in the year. At 9 a.m. Friday morning, a pre-consecration service was held that included testimonials from members of Lighthouse Full Life Center Church, testimonials from Sapp’s family and a final election into the College of Bishops.
 “I am humbled that Bishop Neil C. Ellis saw something in me that I didn’t see in myself,” says the newly appointed Bishop Marvin L. Sapp.

Bishop Neil C. Ellis says: “When looking for provincial leaders, we were looking for strong leadership abilities and someone who could command authority and respect. As I looked among our membership, I saw him as someone more than a gifted and talented psalmist and singer. He has done well with his church, which exemplifies extraordinary leadership. As a single parent it is clear that he has done a tremendous job raising his children, and this showed me that he is a man of integrity and character. He is getting a lot of support from the pastors, so I believe we were correct in our decision.”

According to Bishop Neil C. Ellis, Bishop Marvin L. Sapp is responsible for: 1) overseeing the work of a little over 70 GUF churches in his district, 2) ensuring that all of these churches are properly informed within Global, 3) making certain that all of the churches are walking in alignment with the goals and tenets of Global and 4) giving leadership to a program of events and activities that will solidify a united force of the churches in his province. “Everything that he does is to unite, equip and strengthen those churches.”

“I have tremendous confidence in his ability to get the job done…and I have greater plans for the use of his gifts and talents,” continues Bishop Neil C. It remains to be seen just who involved Paul Morton will or will not be with Full Gospel.  He has been as we call it in COGIC emeritized.  Bishop Jospeh Walker is officially the Presiding Bishop of Full Gospel.  In spite of the sexual allegations a fomer member made that seemed to have gone away in a out of court settlement.  As we all know that usually means he paid a hunk and a chuck to make the alleged ex-Jumpoff go away.  Preachers be careful because these folks will destroy themselves to kill you.  God Bless Bishop Morton and Full Gospel.  Hopefully it will be around in five years after his retirement.

 Drug Dealers And Killers Strike Again……The ongoing feud between rappers Lil Wayne and Birdman has gone to a dark and dangerous place. According to a new report from Atlanta’s ABC affiliate, WSB-TV, Birdman and his associate Young Thug were recently indicted in a conspiracy to kill Lil Wayne.

The local news channel uncovered new information about a shooting that happened this past April. Weezy, 32, was on his tour bus in Atlanta when the vehicle came under fire from two cars and was hit multiple times.

According to reports, the indictment alleges that Birdman, 46, and Young Thug, 22, were behind the violence in a plot to kill Wayne on his bus following an earlier threat from Young Thug against the “Lollipop” rapper’s life.

The article ties the two performers to the Blood gang and includes a quote from the filing reading, “After Atlanta Police discontinued their escort, [associate Jimmy Winfrey] and fellow Blood Gang members entered Interstate 285 from Atlanta Road in Cobb County in pursuit of the buses occupied by [Lil Wayne’s] group… The white sports car pulled beside the buses, shots were then fired into the buses from the sports car with a .40 caliber handgun and a 9mm handgun.”
News reports is just the latest step in the quick deterioration of Birdman and Lil Wayne’s relationship. The two were close personal friends – with Weezy even citing the “Money to Blow” rapper as a father figure – and worked together many times over the years, including on the 2006 release of their collaboration album, Like Father, Like Son.
The dynamic between the former Cash Money labelmates soured last year following a dispute over management and the release of Lil Wayne’s latest album, Tha Carter V. Wayne went on to sue Birdman and Cash Money for $51 million.
For his part, Young Thug is also facing additional legal troubles. The Atlanta native was arrested on Wednesday, July 15, in Sandy Springs, Ga. for allegedly threatening to kill a security officer at a mall.

D.L. Hugley hit it right on the head when he talked about this freak Bruce Jenner.  He does not deserve to be celebrated, but needs to be psychologically evaluated!  Bruce never supported the LBGT community, but now he wants them to get behind him and the world for being crazy.  His kids must be ashamed of the freak they do not know to call momma or daddy.  Right on D.L.!

D.L. Hughley doesn’t think that Caitlyn Jenner deserved to win the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the 2015 ESPYS. Not one bit. The comedian insulted the former Olympian when he was stopped by TMZ cameras in NYC on Friday, July 17.

“[Arthur Ashe] fought AIDS with dignity and honor and Caitlyn Jenner put on a dress. I don’t think it’s the same thing,” Hughley, 52, said. “I don’t think that would have been my choice but I’m not on the ESPYS. I think Arthur Ashe and Caitlyn Jenner have little in common.”
During the cringe-worthy interview, the Original Kings of Comedy star also took a jab at Jenner’s looks.
“She is a beautiful woman, isn’t she?” one cameraman asked.
“No,” Hughley sniped back. “In a Miss Doubtfire kind of way. Stop it. Stop it.”
He continued: “This week we had the media telling us that Caitlyn Jenner was beautiful and that Serena Williams looked like a man. That was a little weird to me. The man looks like a woman and the woman looks like a man? That’s ridiculous. I think Serena is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen on a tennis court and Bruce Jenner looks like every P.E. teacher I’ve ever had.”
But it didn’t end there. Hughley also tweeted side-by-side photos of Jenner, 65, and Mrs. Doubtfire, played by the late Robin Williams in 1993.
“Somebody tell me I’m wrong. #TeamDL,” the actor wrote. He retweeted a follower: “Hughley is too real, wish more celebs spoke their full minds.”
Needless to say, other people were not as happy. “I’ve now unfollowed on FB & Twitter. I don’t get your bullying. Always thought you’d support people living their true selves,” one tweeter wrote. A second noted: “Something tells me @RealDLHughley is a Real DL cross dresser or something cuz why is he bullying @Caitlyn_Jenner?”

A former pastor in St. Mary Parish has been arrested again for alleged inappropriate activity with another 16-year-old boy.

Jules Anderson, 56, of Franklin, was arrested by Franklin Police Wednesday on warrants for computer-aided solicitation of a minor for sexual purposes, sexual battery and molestation of a juvenile.
The arrest stems from a complaint regarding inappropriate activity with a 16-year-old boy.
Deputies with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Anderson in May for attempted indecent behavior with a juvenile after reportedly finding Anderson and a 16-year-old boy in Anderson’s vehicle in a sugarcane field on La. 87 near Franklin.
Anderson allegedly convinced the teen to go with him to the field “with the intention of engaging in sexual acts,” the police report says.
According to an online fundraising account set up by Anderson, he is the former pastor and current overseer of the Israelite Divine Spiritual Church of Christ II in Four Corners.
He’s being held in the St. Mary Parish Jail on a $150,000 bond.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……On yesterday evening, after teaching and a special prayer meeting for our brothers and sisters in Charleston, SC a white male approached our church with a weapon we thought was a machete. He began yelling obscenities and racial epithets while threatening to kill all the niggers at the church. Upon alert, we locked down the church to keep the assailant outside and to keep our parishioners safe. At this point, he began banging on the doors and windows, continuing to threaten myself, other parishioners and all of the “niggers” present.

We are fortunate to employ off-duty officers from the City of Richmond Police Department each time we have a service. One of our officers then approached the suspect with her weapon drawn and asked him to drop the weapon. These warnings were ignored until backup arrived at which that point, the suspect threw his weapon into a nearby bush.
It was some of these same officers that they employ that was used to try and get a warrn et aganist me for extortion.  Funny thing is how do you try to entrap a person by offering them money to not report negative information.  It is great the no one was hurt, but we know first hand that Orrin Pullings can stretch the truth at best.  Not clear why someone would single him out or it could have been someone he had previous beef with because according to the number of people that have contacted Obnoxious Media that do not have very nice things to say about the bishop and his wife.  Pullings comi ated with my pastor that he would take the negative report on me down from the blog he created using my name Obnoxious, but he never kept his word.  Regreatably we removed the story about the rumors of Orrin Pullings being involved in a homosexual relationship with one of the bishops in his so called organization.  The bishop who for some reason wife divorced never once objected to the story or the content.  So we have serious doubts about this so called hate crime.  Ask Demetrius Sengal about his dealing witht this man.  Orrin is the so called Man of God that told me he was going to destroy my life no ,after what it took.  So to say he was a victim of a hate crime is highly questionable from a man that has no integrity.  Orrin and his wife seem to be fighting to remain relevant at all cost.

The suspect was apprehended and taken to a mental facility to be further evaluated. Unfortunately, it appears that threatening to kill people with a weapon and using racial epithets is not a crime in the state of Virginia so the assailant will not be charged with a crime, instead released back into the general public after his 72 hour evaluation.

We thank you all for your prayers and well wishes during this time. Continue to pray for us as we try to get change enacted in the state of Virginia. Threats to lives should be taken seriously, regardless of your mental state. One life that may have been lost in our church family due to a sane or insane person, would have been one life too many.

Satan The Lord Rebuke you……Any individual that causally attends church is seriously concerned about the recent events that we have witnessed going on in the Body of Christ.  It is clear that Christians and especially African Americans are in serious trouble on many levels in the world and the last thing we need is someone who uses the platform of a wanna-be Civil Rights leader lying and claming to act in the best interest of the people with the motive only to remain relevant.  In fact the bible warns us of this very thing.  Jamal Harrison Bryant has a proclivity of alining himself with religous contraversal figure to build his name and ego.  Jamal you are not a seasoned journalist and The Word Network is definitely not CNN!  Jamal you are heretic at best and you attacked a women that questioned you motive and tried to make it a Black/White issue and it is a Christian issue.  You were taken down easily on your own show and it was all about Minister Louis Farrakhan.

Not to meantion that the studio the interview was conducted is owned by the Pentecostal Assembly of the World under Presiding Bishop Charles Ellis, who like you wants to be a celebrity at all cost.  The Word Network is owned by a Jew that is USING the black church for financial gain. If Jamal be honest You should have been suspended or your show cancelled when you quoted Chris Brown “These Hoes are not loyal,” and who knew that better then you!  Jamal it was actually one of your whore’s that brought your ministry down and the only reason why you were not taked down is because your father was the presiding bishop of the AME church.  You have been having bastard children since your days at Morehouse!  Your daddy has been saving you all your life.  You did not earn your way into the hallowed halls of Morehouse as much as it was your father using his status to get you there. They were concerned when he partnered with Iyanla Vanzant for the purpose of saving the city and acted like nobody else did anything to help fix the problems of the City of Balitmore.  Jamal Harrison Bryant wanted Minister Louis Farrakhan for what purpose?  First of all, Why would you begin a person to your house that clearly names the name of another God.  A True Christian broadcast is not the place to invite a hater of Christians.  Water only rises to its own level and you cannot reinvent the wheel.  Farrakhan’s ONLY goal is to build himself and the Nation of Islam. His goal is to promote Christianity as indolent and powerless and he did just that on so-called Christian Network.  As a True Leader Jamal should be a defender of the faith, protect the sheep from the wolves.  The underlying message for Farrakhan’s is that it is Islam that is the solution and Christian leaders are under his banner and the NOI. They put Allah and the NOI and the techings of Elijah Muhammed as superior and then misinterpreted and wrongfully apply the corrupted use of both the Koran and Bible. It is an old ruse with a fresh and ignorant partner.  Jamal Harrison Bryant you are a heretic at best.

 Jamal you have been a hustled and let Louis Farrakhan use you as the face of Christianity to unite with the Nation. Louis is crafty and is desperate for legitimacy, money, and media attention to build the million man march and other projects. Joinging with them is a direct contradiction of continuing in our faith and from whom we have learned and been convinced because we know from whom we have heard. You will be a part of what Farrakhan and not the plan God has allegedly chosen for you. The Unification Church has given $1 million to help finance the Million Man March. Never engage with individuals that twist scripture and is seen as an enemy of the state to raise consiousness on an issue NOI is just as impotent as any other group as solving.

Jamal I can continue, but I have decided to stop and so should you.  Kevin Ladell is rumored to have said a long as the preachers that pay to be on this network did not object it was okay, but it is not.  Jamal how did you convince a Jew to have a Muslim on his network in light of all things happening in Israel?  So I challenge you to have me on your show sir.  Kevin was so scared and never re-aired my 90 minute interview with George Bloomer, but he let you bring a Muslim on his network!  Now if the Saints can rally and Preach taken off the air they should rally to have you come off as well, but not before you accept the challenge to have me on your show!

Everything going down but the word of God……..This is the story of like father like son.  Obnoxious Street Committee members reported several weeks ago that the son of Supt. Derrick W. Hutchins, Sr., Pastor Derrick W. Hutchins II has been allegedly acting just like his father. It seems like yesterday when we were in Los Angeles for the Women’s Convention when rumors were flying that Varnice, Derrick’s mother had gone to Cheaters to bust her ex-husband in his affair that resulted in a bastard baby being born.  You got got it right Derrick senior has a bastard child younger then his grandchildren.  A member of Victorious Believer’s Ministry Church of God In Christ in Columbia, SC posted on Facebook a disturbing message stating that she was no longer a member of Victorious Believer’s Ministry because her pastor Derrick W. Hutchins II was a liar and a cheater. 

 She goes on to say that her pastor (Derrick W. Hutchins, II) has been allegedly sexually involved with one of his Missionaries (Angela Robinson) since February and that he fake apologized to his church just before the International AIM Convention of the Church Of God In Christ (COGIC). It was also reported that his members wanted him removed from the church as pastor. While we were in Tampa, Florida we were looking for Pastor Derrick Hutchins II to be present at the convention especially since he plays a key roll in the International Evangelist Department and presently serves the Executive Board for the General Council of Pastors & Elders for the COGIC. While in Tampa, Florida my staff reached out to him to see if he was coming to the AIM Convention and he told them he would not be there this time. We further asked him the hard questions as it relates to his church not wanting him as pastor, about the extra marital affair his members reportedly found him in. HE said and I quote, “this was all untrue.”  Obnoxious Street Committee Members also heard allegedly there is a video that Missionary Angela Robinson record in he phone of Pastor Derrick W. Hutchins II clearly having oral sex with his member. We also understand that in making this video of their sexual encounter her intent was not to use the highly explicit video bring him to an open shame,mbut somehow it is rumored to have been leaked.

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God meets Drug Dealers And Killers Strike Again……A former Florida church worker is accused of raping a mentally disabled girl at least seven times — including in front of his own child.

Joseph Averitt, 33, is accused of raping a mentally disabled 14-year-old girl at a Florida church he worked at.
 Joseph Averitt, 33, was allegedly caught in the act at New Destiny Christian Center in Apopka, leading to a 911 call and his arrest on Wednesday, WESH-TV reported.
The 13-year-old victim said she had had multiple sexual encounters with the married man since the summer of 2014.
She said it began in one of the church’s sanctuary booths. But other times were at his Altamonte Springs home and another time was in a mall’s parking lot while his wife shopped inside.

 During that alleged incident, Averitt’s young son was watching from a backseat carseat while crying, she told police.
According to Averitt’s Facebook page, he has been married for just over two years.
The former production engineer for the church has been charged with eight counts of sexual battery on a mentally challenged individual.

Everything Is Going Down, But a The Word Of God……Jackass Jakes Megachurch leader and author T.D. Jakes says that homosexuals should attend congregations that affirm their lifestyle and that politics do not need to reflect biblical ethics, adding that his position on homosexuality is both “evolved and evolving.”

Perhaps it is being the father of a gay son that was busted for his late night strolls in a Dallas park to have sex with men that has helep him change his view.  Funny this Apolstic preacher is preaching a compromising gospel for money.  Can you real be at his level and stand for true holiness of did he come to this new revalation with Tyler Perry laid hands on him.  Jackass Jakes does not have the statesmanship of a Baptist preacher so what do you expect.  Now all these preachers are talking about him behind his back, but not one will have the courage to speak out against his statement.  Jakes is attempting to back peddle, but this is God allowing him to expose who he really is by his own mouth.  According to this Jackass you need to find a church that accomdates your sin.  If you are go to a gay church is you are a liar got to the liar church.  This man is not a Man Of God that preaches repentance and turn from your wicked ways.  Next he will say Jesus is not Son of God and if his blood was not shed their would be no remission of sin.  The Gospel is simple either you are hot or cold!

During an interview with the Huffington Post on Monday, Jakes was asked by a viewer if he believes that homosexuals and the black church can co-exist.
“Absolutely… I think it is going to be diverse from church to church. Every church has a different opinion on the issue and every gay person is different,” he replied. “And I think that to speak that the church—the black church, the white church or any kind of church you wanna call it—are all the same, is totally not true.”
Jakes said that he thinks homosexuals should find congregations that affirm their lifestyle.
“LGBT’s of different types and sorts have to find a place of worship that reflects what your views are and what you believe like anyone else,” he outlined.
“The church should have the right to have its own convictions and values; if you don’t like those convictions and values [and] you totally disagree with it, don’t try to change my house, move into your own … and find somebody who gets what you get about faith,” Jakes added.
He said that the issue of homosexuality is “complex.”
“Paul spends a lot of time wrestling back and forth, trying to understand should a woman wear a head covering, should you cut your hair,” Jakes stated. “I mean, they grappled back then and we’re grappling now because we’re humans and we are flawed and we’re not God.”
“Once you understand you’re not God, you leave yourself an ‘out’ clause to grow,” he said.
When asked if his position on homosexuality has “evolved,” Jakes agreed that it has.
“Evolved and evolving,” he replied. “I think that where I am is to better understand we, the church, bought into the myth that this is a Christian nation.”
Earlier this year, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that states must legalize same-sex “marriage,” igniting a battle between the Church and State over the issue. In his comments on Monday, Jakes advocated for the separation of Church and State, which would allow for “all types of people” to have whatever rights they desire despite biblical prohibitions. He said that politics don’t need to be based on Christianity.
“[O]nce you get past [thinking America is a Christian nation] … Once you begin to understand that democracy—that a republic actually—is designed to be an overarching system to protect our unique nuances, then we no longer look for public policy to reflect biblical ethics,” Jakes explained.
“If we can divide—or what you would call separation of Church and State—then we can dwell together more effectively because atheists, agnostics, Jews, all types of people, Muslims, pay into the government. The government then cannot reflect one particular view over another just because we’re the dominant group of religious people in [this] country because those numbers are changing every day,” he asserted. “We need a neutralized government that protects our right to disagree with one another and agree with one another.”
Jakes had visited the Huffington Post to discuss his new book on “destiny.” The interview focused on motivational subject matter in following one’s dreams and passions as opposed to the eternal destiny of the soul.

 Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……A 92-year-old woman is no longer allowed to worship at the church where she was a member for more than 50 years because she was not tithing.  She is not a member!  No organization allows you to be a member of you are not financial.  Put her out if she is not supporting the misnistry!  

Josephine King said that was the reason she was kicked out of Bainbridge’s First African Baptist Church.  The Bible is clear, she is cursed with a curse and if she cannot and will not support with her money get the HELL OUT!
Her family members said they hope the situation will bring change to churches across the nation.
“Josephine King is no longer considered a member of the First African Baptist Church of Bainbridge, Georgia,” read Gerald Simmons, as he skimmed over the letter addressed to his aunt.
The letter, signed by Senior Pastor Derrick Mike, stated that Ms. King “has shown non-support” towards the church in the areas of “constant and consistent financial and physical participation.”
“She was stunned. She was disappointed. She was shocked,” said Simmons.
He said Ms. King was considered sick and a shut-in for several months, which was the reason for her lack of attendance.
He also said his aunt had gone above and beyond in the past to financially support the church.
“You shouldn’t chase the individuals down,” said Simmons. “You shouldn’t do that. If that’s the case, you’re money hungry.”
Simmons also noted that his aunt isn’t the first person to receive a letter of removal for not tithing, and hopes her story will shed some light on the policy.
“You have to have money to make these churches run, but it’s not about money,” Simmons said. “It’s about God. You have to put God first.”
Several requests for comment from the church were made, but no responses by officials or other members were given.

Oprah Winfrey will be producing a new television drama called “Greenleaf,” which is based on the lives of the family of a megachurch pastor in Memphis, Tennessee.

“Lost” alum Craig Wright, who also produced “Dirty Sexy Money” and “Tyrant,” will be writing the scripts for the show’s 13 episodes, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“To tell this potentially explosive story with Oprah, a partner who has as much respect and affection for the church as I do, whose entire body of work is infused with what I would call a faith-based humanism, is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, a blessing, even,” said Wright.
“When I first read the script, I instantly felt an affinity for the characters and loved Craig’s creative vision for a fictional drama on an epic scale,” added Winfrey. “This show is going to be a fun ride and will hopefully have viewers on the edge of their pews week after week.”
The show will centre on the lives of the members of the Greenleaf family whose head is in charge of the Memphis megachurch with predominantly African-American members. They might be considered as the community’s pillars of religious righteousness, but they still struggle with greed, adultery, sibling rivalry, conflicting values, and many other sins.
The series has been described as a “multi-generational matrix of deception that involves the church’s founding family and extends to its congregation, prominent members of the Memphis community and beyond. Yet, amid the mayhem and deception, the power of something greater persists, calling everyone to conscience for their sins.”
It will be the Oprah Winfrey Network’s (OWN) second original scripted series that is not written by Tyler Perry, who is the brains behind other OWN shows such as “The Haves and the Have Nots,” “If Loving You Is Wrong,” “Love Thy Neighbor,” and “For Better or Worse.”

Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……Great read submitted by a member of my Obnoxious Street Committee!

Christians need to become more astute at determining the source of things.

For instance: when you hear a song from a favorite gospel artist or group, are you sure their source comes from God? Are they plugged into Holy Ghost power or demonic power?

Just because they can sing good or make you feel goosebumps doesn’t mean God is their source. God may be the source of their gift: but is He the source for how that gift is being used?

Now I know some will say: ‘But Mack, these gospel artists are singing gospel music (or Christian hip hop). Aren’t they giving God the glory and leading others to Christ through their music?”

That depends again on the source. Is their music inspiring people to turn away from their sins, repent and turn to Christ? Is it influencing people to be more holy? If not, you must question the source.

It’s real easy to determine which power is empowering them. Here’s the acid test:

When you hear your favorite gospel song being played, what does it make you feel like doing? Does it inspire you to want to worship God with all your heart and soul: or are you really just moved to dance and gyrate your hips?

When you see your favorite gospel artist on stage performing or ‘ministering,’ are they dressed in a way that speaks to holiness and godliness? Or do they awaken and excite feelings of lust, sensuality and worldliness?
I remember back in my club scene days, I’d be posted up near the bar whispering game in some woman’s ear: when all of a sudden a Kirk Franklin song would come on. This isn’t meant to bash Kirk or his music in any way. But I’m just keeping it real because this genuinely baffled me. When his music would come on, instead of people leaving the dance floor, they would keep right on dancing without skipping a beat.

No one would pause, ponder, stare in bewilderment or anything. This was amazing to me even while I was in a backslidden state myself, because this was a gospel song being sung by a well known gospel artist, in a NIGHT CLUB! And yet no one felt any sense of conviction or need to change their ways.

The problem with the gospel music artists today is that many if not most are no longer plugged into God as their source. Their desire for worldly acceptance and demonic validation has blinded their hearts and corrupted their gifts.

Again: don’t get the gifting confused with the anointing. God gives people their ability or talent. That’s the gifting. But the person can choose to plug that talent into God’s power for His glory or purposes, or choose instead to plug it into a demonic source for the devil’s glory or purposes.

What does the music inspire you to do? If it doesn’t inspire you to be more holy, to feel a stronger internal desire to dig deeper into His Word and spend more time with our Heavenly Father, or encourage yourself or your brethren in Christ to hold on and keep the faith: then that source does NOT come from God; no matter how talented the artist might be.

A Godly source will inspire you to become more holy and more godly. But a demonic source will encourage you to become more like those who are unsaved and of the world.

This is why you must steer yourself away from gospel artists who are inspiring you after the flesh. You know the type: the ones who go around proclaiming themselves to be ‘sexy’ Christians. Or the ones who are quick to call everyone else judgmental because they don’t agree with mixing the holy with the profane.

The only place a self-proclaimed sexy Christian can lead you to is right into sexual sin. God doesn’t need his people using their bodies to attract others to Him! What type of demonic mess is that?!

Christ has called us to be holy vessels of God, and to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, crucifying our flesh daily so we can walk in holiness and sexual purity. You won’t be able to do that if you’re running around promoting your sexiness to others.

In fact, you’ve already been compromised by the devil if you find yourself feeling defensive as you read this article.

I challenge anyone to find me the verse and scripture where God told anyone to use their bodies or ungodly means to draw others to Jesus. You won’t be able to, because that idea came direct from Hell. It wasn’t inspired by the Holy Spirit: it was inspired by the spirit of Lust.

Those type of gospel artists know they are very talented. But their hearts aren’t right. And you can tell because their approach to their music ministry seems eerily similar to that of the mighty angelic worship leader who fell from God’s grace when he too determined to use his godly gifts to gain worship for himself.

Satan was once the worship angel over all of the heavenly angelic host. He was known back then as Lucifer: the Covering Cherub. God created him with so much talent and beauty that when Lucifer even moved, his very body itself played wonderful worship music that praised God. God created him so that his very limbs and movements produced melodious sounds.

But his talents caused his heart to become lifted up in pride and vainglory. He decided: instead of getting others to worship God when he played and sang his inspiring music, he would get the angels to worship him directly.—Isaiah 14:12-15; Ezekiel 28:13-17

His talent became corrupted. And he lost his eternal place in heaven because of it. But not before corrupting the hearts and minds of many other angels too. How many, we don’t know. But we know that number was numerous according to Rev 12:4.

Now he’s busy with those angels on earth corrupting the worship of the saints of God by getting their favorite gospel artists and worship leaders to steer their attention away from Jesus Christ, and onto themselves and their own fleshly desires.

Creative types have a unique ability to hear from the spirit realm and interpret what they’re hearing or seeing through their art. This is why it’s important to know the source of their inspiration. Don’t confuse their ability with their anointing. Those can be two very distinct different things.

One last story and then I’m done: I remember going to church as a kid, and whenever someone got up to sing a solo, the elder church folk would say things like ‘Let the Lord use you honey.’ They said this because in their wisdom they knew the person could just as easily let a demon use them instead of being used by God. So they encouraged the soloist to channel the power of God for a powerful heavenly impact on the listeners.

It’s time to purge your hearts and ears saints. This message won’t be for everyone, because not everyone who calls himself or herself a believer really is.

Jesus said “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.”―Matthew 7:21

This message is for those who truly desire to walk upright and live in such a manner that truly pleases our Heavenly Father.

If you have a strong addiction to listening to demonically inspired music…and remember our test from earlier…it’s time to purge your musical playlist. This is an important step in walking upright before God.

We’re about to enter a phase in our world where darkness and sin will sweep this earth like never before.

God is allowing sin and demonic influence to increase because the time is near for Him to return and bring an end to Satan’s reign of terror.

He’s separating His sheep from Satan’s goats. And all those who are still tinkering and tampering with sin will find it more difficult than ever to pull away. The sin you hold onto is the one that will destroy you. So don’t be destroyed by sin: cast it out!

Go through your musical tastes and playlist. And do this prayerfully with all the honesty you can muster. As you honestly assess each artist you enjoy listening to and their music, ask yourself some simple questions:

What does this music inspire me to do? Am I influenced by this artist and their music to read my bible more, pray more, go to church more, abstain from sexual sin and walk in holiness? Or is it influencing me to think more about myself and my own fleshly desire for worldly and sensual validation?

Be totally honest and transparent. Pray and ask God by His Spirit to help you remove any and all influence from your life that does not match what His ideal for you is. He’ll help you if you sincerely want His help.
